A light from years gone by. This original town street lamp stands beside the new Town Hall on the corner of King Street and Queen Alley in Shpeherdstown, West Virginia. Owned for many years by the late Sally Spaulding, the lamp post was bought from her estate in 2010, restored and installed. The design of this lamp mirrors the clock tower on top of McMurran Hall. Together with Reynold's Hall, these historic buildings of Shepherd University provide a fitting backdrop for the proud lantern!
